Cost effectiveness analysis

The ACTIVAGE evaluation protocol foresees to implement for each Use Case a Cost Utility Analysis (CUA) of the deployed services. More specifically, CUA is ongoing where effectiveness is measured in terms of Utility (QALY[1]) linked to a service. The identified methodology is based on analysis of the Incremental Costs effectiveness ratio (ICER) and includes the willingness to pay parameter as a threshold to identify in the ICER plan the acceptability area for investment by public and private decision makers and investors. The comparison is to be considered between the new service enabled by ACTIVAGE and a comparator service.
